Unos 40 subsaharianos que viajaban en un tren sin billete han provocado un incidente en la estación barcelonesa de Sants cuando muchos de ellos han optado por adentrarse en un túnel para huir de un control de los Mossos, lo que ha obligado a parar durante una media hora la circulación de 4 líneas de Cercanías.
Los subsaharianos habían subido al tren en Salou (Tarragonès) e iban indocumentados y sin billete, por lo que habían tenido problemas con un revisor que había alertado de la situación.
Al llegar a la estación de Sants, los inmigrantes se han encontrado con que los esperaban agentes de los Mossos d’Esquadra, requeridos por el gestor de infraestructuras ferroviarias, Adif, y que han procedido a pedirles la identificación.
En ese momento, algunos de los subsaharianos han optado por huir adentrándose en el túnel de la estación de Sants y otros por intentar sortear a los agentes saliendo corriendo a la calle, lo que ha provocado que los Mossos siguieran tras ellos.
Los Mossos han pedido que se interrumpiera la circulación de trenes para poder seguir a los inmigrantes que se habían introducido en el túnel.
Los agentes han podido finalmente identificar a una veintena de subsaharianos que han sido trasladados a dependencias del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía (CNP) en aplicación de la ley de extranjería (LLP: expulsión).
Si bien la circulación de los trenes se ha ido recuperando progresivamente, los convoyes todavía pasan con cautela por el túnel, reduciendo su velocidad, como medida de precaución, según ha apuntado Renfe.

Quand, dimanche, elle est descendue du train à Mohammedia (l’ancienne Fedala), Ibtissam n’a « rien compris » : « Une centaine de policiers encerclaient la gare, on aurait dit qu’on allait commettre un attentat ! » Cette psychothérapeute de 34 ans fait partie des six Marocains interpellés le 13 septembre pour « tentative d’incitation à la rupture du jeûne en public ». « On prévoyait un pique-nique en forêt pour protester contre la criminalisation de ceux qui ne font pas le Ramadan », confirme Ibtissam.
Avec Zineb El Rhazoui, journaliste, elle vient de fonder le Mouvement alternatif pour les libertés individuelles (Mali). C’est la première fois qu’un groupe de « non-jeûneurs » affiche ainsi publiquement ses convictions. De quoi faire bondir le Conseil des oulémas (théologiens) contre cet acte « odieux qui défie les enseignements d’Allah et du prophète Mohammed ». Mais cela montre le ras-le-bol grandissant de Marocains qui, évoquant le libre arbitre, ne jeûnent pas et vivent mal leur « clandestinité ».
Six mois de prison Dans le pays, quiconque, considéré comme musulman, ne fait pas le jeûne et le montre dans un lieu public, encourt de un à six mois de prison. « Un copain à Rabat vient de prendre un mois ferme », rapporte Omar Radi, journaliste de 22 ans, dont la famille n’a « jamais jeûné, par athéisme ». « À Fès, un jeune a été frappé par des gens et emmené au commissariat. Sa mère a dû montrer son certificat médical pour l’en sortir. »
Malika Labiad, propriétaire du restaurant La Corrida, qui reste ouvert pendant le Ramadan, a été convoquée par la police. « Quand entre quelqu’un qui a l’air marocain, on refuse de le servir s’il ne présente pas une carte d’identité étrangère », se défend son mari Abdellatif, gêné. « On n’a rien eu car le policier nous connaît. Sinon, c’est la fermeture plusieurs mois et plus de licence d’alcool. » Farah, 27 ans, française de parents maghrébins, s’est vu refuser le déjeuner chez le boulanger Paul. « C’est du délit de faciès, s’indigne-t-elle. Le serveur m’a dit avoir eu des plaintes et craindre la prison. »
« Pas des bourgeois ou des intellectuels occidentalisés » Une enquête a révélé que 60 % des Marocains considèrent comme non musulman celui qui ne jeûne pas. Difficile d’évaluer le nombre de non-jeûneurs. « Il ne s’agit pas que de bourgeois ou d’intellectuels occidentalisés », assure Salaheddine, 30 ans, biologiste, fils d’un professeur d’arabe. Athée, il mange en cachette.
« Il y a plus d’intolérance depuis le début des années 2000, depuis la grande percée des islamistes. À la fac, dans les années 1970, les non-jeûneurs mangeaient en public. Cela ne se fait plus », explique Omar l’altermondialiste qui se retrouve « obligé d’aller le midi chez McDo ». L’ironie, pour Farah, est autre : « En France, je jeûnais depuis mes 11 ans. C’était un plaisir, même si parfois je croquais une datte, seule dans le RER. Depuis que je suis au Maroc, j’ai arrêté. Cette obligation, cette hypocrisie, je ne la supporte pas. Je ne me sens plus libre de mon choix religieux. »

Pre-marital sex is illegal in Saudi Arabia and Mr Abdul Jawad could face imprisonment or flogging. Saudi Arabia is not only the most conservative society in the Arab world, it is also the most discreet. If people break its strict Islamic code they face punishment – lashes or imprisonment for drinking or non-marital sex.These rules are flouted by locals as well as expatriates, correspondents say, but almost everyone who breaks the rules keeps quiet about it and hopes they will not be found out.

La explosión de una furgoneta de ETA sobre las 4 de la madrugada, en la casa cuartel de la Guardia Civil de Burgos, cargada con 200 kilos, deja 65 heridos leves. Dormían en el edificio 117 personas, de ellas 41 niños. No hubo aviso previo.
Se sabe que la organización terrorista se ha debilitado extremadamente con la mayor parte de sus jefes en prisión. Se habla también de debate interno para decidir si hay que continuar o no con la lucha armada.
Parece que, como de costumbre, el sector más radical se esté imponiendo, deseoso de que hable la pólvora e iniciar una nueva oleada de asesinatos.
Dos guardias civiles han resultado muertos y otras personas han sufrido heridas tras la explosión registrada poco antes de las dos de la tarde junto al cuartel de la Guardia Civil en Palmanova, en el municipio mallorquín de Palmanova (Calvià), según fuentes de la lucha antiterrorista. Se trata del primer atentado terrorista con víctimas en las Islas Baleares. Palmanova es un importante enclave turístico de Mallorca frecuentado por turistas ingleses.
Los dos guardias civiles muertos hoy son Carlos Sáenz de Tejada García y Diego Salva Lezaun. Sáenz de Tejada era guardia, tenía 28 años, había nacido en Burgos y había recibido su destino hace sólo tres días, aunque llevaba en la isla algo más de seis meses. Intentó en varias ocasiones ingresar en la Policía Nacional pero no logró superar las pruebas. Salva Lezaun tenía 27 años, había nacido en Pamplona aunque llevaba muchos años residiendo en Mallorca y era alumno en prácticas desde hace pocos días. Ambos agentes, los dos solteros, iban de paisano, trabajaban en labores de mantenimiento y estaban de servicio en el momento de la explosión. Ambos habían ingresado en la Guardia Civil en 2008, por lo que llevaban alrededor de un año prestando servicio en el instituto armado.
Los agentes fallecidos viajaban en el interior de un vehículo cuando se produjo una fuerte explosión alrededor 13.50 horas que acabó con la vida de los guardias civiles. Desde el Ayuntamiento de Calvià afirman que el lugar está ubicado en una zona muy turística, en segunda línea de playa. Alrededor se encuentran numerosos hoteles, llenos por estas fechas vacacionales. El hotel Los Mirlos, de la cadena Meliá, se encuentra justo enfrente de donde ha ocurrido la explosión. A pocos kilómetros está el Palacio de Marivent, donde veranea la familia real. Precisamente el atentado se produce en los días previos a que los Reyes lleguen a Mallorca y durante el operativo de seguridad
El atentado perpetrado este mediodía en Mallorca ha coincidido con el 18 aniversario de otros dos atentados cometidos en Mallorca con coche bomba por el entonces miembro del “comando Ekaitz” José Luis Urrusolo Sistiaga. El 30 de julio de 1991, Urrusolo Sistiaga provocó dos explosiones en Palma de Mallorca que causaron heridas al hijo de un militar y a un alferez en sendos atentados. Un tercer acto terrorista quedó frustrado.

El País – 18h42 : La policía desactiva una nueva bomba lapa en un coche de la Guardia Civil de otro cuartel de Palmanova (Mallorca).
El Ministerio del Interior ha distribuido hoy las fotografías de seis presuntos etarras que estarían relacionados con la última ofensiva de la banda terrorista ETA, que ha atentado en dos ocasiones esta semana, la primera en Burgos, y ayer en Calvià (Mallorca), donde asesinó a dos guardias civiles.
El único de estos terroristas que aparecía anteriormente entre los más buscados por la Fuerzas de Seguridad del Estado era Oroitz Gurruchaga, nacido en Rentería (Guipúzcoa) el 8 de julio de 1981.
¿Qué motivaciones han tenido los terroristas? Después, ya con la nueva democracia española y el autogobierno vasco, la perentoriedad de afirmarse violentamente como vascos, siempre según determinados cánones nacionalistas, ha sido inducida entre quinceañeros predispuestos por razones de edad a la búsqueda de una identidad e insertos en la subcultura del nacionalismo radical. Y de esta violenta lógica de identificación no han escapado hijos de inmigrantes andaluces, extremeños, castellanos o gallegos.
ETA se da un “papel” para cinco años ¿tiene ETA asegurada su supervivencia cuando el 15% de los adolescentes vascos (de entre 12 y 16 años) justifica o no rechaza la violencia?
ETA NO Ya sabemos que esta “democracia” es un timo. Ya sabemos que esta “libertad” es sólo la coartada para los negocios del capital. Ya sabemos que algunos funcionarios del Estado torturan en siniestras comisarías y cárceles. Ya sabemos que los partidos políticos no se han tomado en serio la posibilidad de negociar la Paz. Ya sabemos que la autodeterminación de un pueblo es un derecho inalienable. Sí, sabemos esas cosas. Pero aún sabiéndolas y dándoles la importancia que merecen, nos parece ilegítima, absurda y criminal la lucha armada, el terrorismo o como lo quieran llamar. Porque el fin no justifica los medios. Porque -aquí o en Afganistán- no hay nada que legitime el asesinato de personas. Ni siquiera de personas que puedan ser cómplices del Sistema. Como decía Mohandas Gandhi: “El futuro será noviolento o no será”
“Debemos ser prudentes y responsables. Hay que evitar manifestaciones triunfalistas por bien que vayan las cosas (…) Todo ello, junto a la acción policial nos permite decir que se empieza a ver luz al final del túnel. No voy más lejos porque estoy convencido de que el terrorismo todavía nos hará sufrir”. ¿Rubalcaba? No: el entrecomillado es de una entrevista a Corcuera en la revista Tiempo en 1992 que cito frecuentemente: la luz al final del túnel se veía tan nítida como hoy hace diecisiete años.
Tras cincuenta años no estaría de más que ETA hiciera un balance. No obviamente el del sufrimiento y el dolor causado e incluso padecido. Ese balance es demasiado evidente como para seguir recordándolo. ¿Qué han conseguido en estos cincuenta años para su gente y para su causa? ETA es hoy la gran excusa (aceptada hasta por el TEDH) para reforzar el centralismo, para conseguir eliminar libertades hasta hace poco intocables, para justificar la marginación política de más de un 10% de los vascos…. ¿a cambio de qué logro? Para todos los demás resulta demasiado evidente que el balance del dolor haría injustificable la existencia de ETA incluso aunque fuera un instrumento eficacísimo para objetivos políticos legítimos. No es que sea sólo ineficaz, sino que es incluso contraproducente para quienes sólo hacen un balance de los fines sin reparar en los terribles medios: los fines a los que se supone que aspira ETA se alejan gracias a los medios que utiliza todavía ETA.
